Jacob Misiorowski showcased a picture of his dog inside his All-Star Game Red Carpet suit. Shohei Ohtani, a four-time Most Valuable Player, has often brought his dog, Decoy, to various events, including the MVP announcement shows and the All-Star Game Red Carpet. This year, however, Misiorowski also made an impression by incorporating his furry friend into his outfit.
During the MLB Network broadcast on Tuesday, Misiorowski revealed his stylish black three-piece suit, designed by Gentleman’s Playbook. On the inner left side of his jacket, he displayed a photograph of his dog, Ember. Although he did not confirm it during the broadcast, the name "Ember" likely references the iconic fire-type move from the Pokémon franchise, a nod to Misiorowski’s passion for the series.
At 24 years old, Misiorowski will not pitch in the game that night, taking time to rest as he prepares for the second half of the season. Nonetheless, he joins other notable players at the All-Star festivities in Philadelphia, including Shohei Ohtani, demonstrating that one does not need to have their pet physically present to share a connection with them during such significant events.
