Chelsea Sacks Liam Rosenior After Short Tenure

Liam Rosenior has been sacked by Chelsea after a disappointing tenure that lasted less than four months. Appointed in January to replace Enzo Maresca, Rosenior started strong, winning eight of his first eleven matches. However, the team's form took a drastic turn, culminating in a seventh loss in their last eight games following a defeat to Brighton. The only victory during this stretch came against third-tier Port Vale in the FA Cup.

Chelsea's management has expressed that the decision to part ways with Rosenior was not made lightly. A club statement noted, "This has not been a decision the club has taken lightly, however recent results and performances have fallen below the necessary standards with still so much more to play for this season.
