Sunderland Claims Hard-Fought Victory against Newcastle

Newcastle United started the match well and took the lead early when Anthony Gordon netted after 10 minutes, with an assist by Nick Woltemade, making it 1-0.

In the 57th minute, Chemsdine Talbi equalised for Sunderland.

The deciding goal came in stoppage time, when Brian Brobbey found the net for Sunderland to complete Sunderland's come back.

"I thought when we scored we'd go on and dominate the game and then we never really capitalised on that momentum that we had. The first half fizzed out, from our perspective," Newcastle boss Eddie Howe said speaking with Sky Sports.
