Chelsea started the match well and took the lead early when Cole Palmer  netted after 21 minutes, with an assist by Malo Gusto, making it 1-0.

Chelsea increased the lead to 2-0 just before the half-time whistle as Malo Gusto found the net, with an assist by Pedro Neto. The second half was goalless and the match ended with a 2-0 win for Chelsea.

For the home team, the results mean fourth place in the table. Everton are eighth in the league.
