In remarks made to Luv FM, Mensah highlighted that Queiroz, who has overseen the footballing paths of Portugal, Iran, and presently Ghana in World Cup competitions, does not carry an impressive World Cup history. Nonetheless, he maintained that this should not undermine Queiroz's extensive coaching experience. "He does not have a great record at the World Cup, but that does not mean he's not a very accomplished coach," Mensah remarked.

As Ghana gears up for their Group L opener against Panama on June 17, Queiroz finds himself with just 46 days to prepare the team. His deadline to finalize and submit his 26-man squad is set for June 1. Despite expressing concerns regarding the overall preparedness and stability of the Black Stars, Mensah believes that Queiroz's tactical expertise could be invaluable for the team as they navigate the upcoming challenges.
