Responsible Gambling
Sports betting should be entertainment. When it stops being entertainment — when it's about chasing losses, hiding bets, or money you cannot afford to lose — that's the signal to stop, set limits, or get help.

Signs of problem gambling
Common warning signs include:
- Spending more than you planned, more often than you planned.
- Chasing losses with larger bets to "win it back".
- Lying to family or partners about how much you bet.
- Borrowing money — formally or informally — to fund bets.
- Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut back.
- Gambling to escape stress or low mood, rather than for entertainment.
Two or more of these patterns over a sustained period is a meaningful signal. The earlier you address it, the easier it is.
Self-exclusion
Licensed operators in your country are required to offer self-exclusion — a binding commitment to block your account for a set period (commonly one month, six months, or a year). Activating self-exclusion is your call; once active, the operator cannot waive it before the term ends.
Deposit and time limits
All licensed operators provide tools to set daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, session time limits, and reality-check notifications. Setting these before you start a betting session is far more effective than trying to apply them when you are already engaged.
Additional support
Beyond the helpline, support groups (in person and online), individual counselling, and family-focused services exist in every market we cover. If you would like a confidential introduction to a local support service, write to [email protected] and we will respond within one business day.
