Leao names his two favourite Premier League clubs

Rafael Leao appears increasingly likely to leave AC Milan after the team’s failure to qualify for the 2026-27 Champions League. The Portugal international revealed his two favourite Premier League clubs amid rampant transfer speculation.
Leao, who has earned accolades including a Scudetto and Serie A MVP during his career, has scored 80 competitive goals in seven seasons with the Rossoneri. However, following a difficult 2025-26 campaign where AC Milan missed out on Champions League qualification—despite spending much of the season in second place—his departure seems more probable.
Rumours suggest that clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, and even Barcelona could pursue a summer transfer if Leao becomes available. He reportedly holds no interest in moving to Galatasaray or Fenerbahce, nor to the Saudi Pro League, despite reported interest from those teams.
In a recent interview with the Cernucci Podcast, Leao discussed his connection to the Premier League. When asked whether he watches the league, he affirmatively responded, "Yeah of course," and when pressed about his favourite teams, he laughed and stated: "I like (Manchester) United because my idol is Cristiano Ronaldo, so back then, I used to watch them." He added, "I like Arsenal also." The full interview is set for release on Sunday.
