Accra Sports Stadium deemed unprepared for 2027 U-20 AFCON

The National Sports Authority (NSA) boss stated that the Accra Sports Stadium is not ready to host the 2027 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The NSA has been overseeing the preparations for the stadium as Ghana aims to provide suitable venues for the continental tournament. Although there is still time for improvements to be made, officials have raised concerns about various aspects of the stadium’s readiness, which include facilities and infrastructure.
