Adamo Nagalo: Burkinabe Defender Joins Turkey for €3 Million
Newsroom

Adamo Nagalo, a defender from Burkina Faso, joined Turkey for a fee of €3 million. This transfer was reported by several sources, including Voetbal International and Eindhovens Dagblad. Earlier, the PSV Eindhoven club received an offer ranging from €2.5 to €3 million for Nagalo, and the Turkish club, Corum FK, is set to make the deal happen for that amount.
The interest from Turkey towards Nagalo is not new. The previous season saw him on loan at Konyaspor, but the Turkish club deemed PSV's asking price of €4 million too high. However, Corum FK, a newly promoted team in the Premier League, entered negotiations, leading to reports of an imminent agreement.
Nagalo, a 23-year-old central defender, had long been anticipated for a transfer, but an agreement had yet to be reached until now. He had previously spent a season with Konyaspor, where he played 13 matches, still more than the total of 12 games he participated in while at PSV. In the summer transfer market of 2024, Eindhoven managed to bring Nagalo on board just before the transfer window closed, spending €7 million on him from FC Nordsjaelland, though this amount could have increased to €10 million with bonuses. With this current move to Turkey, Nagalo is expected to continue his career at Corum FK.
