The Belgian Grand Prix, part of the 2026 Formula 1 season, took place at Spa-Francorchamps from 17-19 July. Pierre Gasly unfortunately crashed during FP2, causing significant damage to his Alpine car, while Norris faced a 10-place grid penalty for the Belgian Grand Prix, a setback ahead of the race. Red Bull also prepared to change Verstappen's wing following his crash. The conditions appeared favorable for the weekend, with only varied light showers expected.
This grand prix marked the 10th round of the season, and it promised exciting competitive dynamics with Antonelli in the lead as the drivers prepared to face the challenging Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
